## Probable cause

PILOT'S FAILURE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING THE LANDING ROLL.

## Sequence of events

In NTSB's coding before 2008 (https://www.ntsb.gov/GILS/Documents/codman.pdf).

- Loss of control - on ground/water, landing - roll
  - weather condition - turbulence (contributing factor)
  - directional control - not maintained, pilot in command (cause)
  - lack of total experience in type of aircraft, pilot in command (contributing factor)

## Analysis

THE PILOT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING LANDING ROLLOUT AFTER THE RIGHT WING LIFTED. DURING HIS ATTEMPT TO REGAIN CONTROL, THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED, FOLDING UNDER THE FUSELAGE, AND THE RIGHT WING SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.
