THE IMPACT BROKE A SKYLIGHT IN THE ROOF AND THE ACFT FELL THROUGH THE HOLE, COMING TO REST INSIDE THE WHSE. ROCKS, HAND TOOLS, AND A LARGE UNSECURED TREE STUMP WERE IN THE ACFT CABIN. THE STUMP HAD A FRESH SCAR AND BLACK PAINT SMEARS ADJACENT TO THE CYCLIC CONTROL STICK. A SCREW HEAD IN THE BLACK CYCLIC STICK WAS FILLED WITH WOOD SPLINTERS.

## FAA reports on this event (1)

The FAA's own accident and incident reports, matched to the aircraft by N-number and date (OpenAirDocs).

- [Accident 19910331007869A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910331007869A), Mar 31, 1991: Robsin R22BETA, Seattle, WA, Destroyed, 1 fatal. Rolled over and crashed into a warehouse near airport. Beleive tree stump roots in cockpit interfered with cylic.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
