## Analysis

DEER ON THE AIRPORT WAS A PUBLICIZED CONDITION. BEFORE STARTING TO TAKE OFF ON RUNWAY 33, THE PILOT CHECKED FOR DEER. THE PILOT SUCCESSFULLY ABORTED THE TAKEOFF FOLLOWING THE COLLISION.

- [Accident 19910828040639A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19910828040639A), Aug 28, 1991: Beech 95B55, Joseph, OR, Substantial damage. On takeoff struck a deer at liftoff. Aborted and rolled out on runway. NOTAMS for deer on runway.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
