## Probable cause

THE PILOT SELECTED THE WRONG RUNWAY FOR WIND CONDITIONS.

## Sequence of events

In NTSB's coding before 2008 (https://www.ntsb.gov/GILS/Documents/codman.pdf).

- Overrun, landing - roll
  - weather condition - tailwind
  - wrong runway - selected, pilot in command (cause)
- On ground/water collision with object, landing - roll
- On ground/water encounter with terrain/water, landing - roll

THE CESSNA 182 PILOT LANDED LONG, DOWNSLOPE, WITH A TAILWIND, AND ELECTED NOT TO GO AROUND BECAUSE HE HAD FULL FLAPS SLEECTED. THE AIRCRAFT OVERRAN THE END OF THE RUNWAY, STRIKING A BUILDING WITH THE RIGHT WINGTIP.
