## Analysis

The pilot reported that, he configured the airplane to land and completed the approach to runway 34. Upon touchdown, the airplane touched down hard and bounced. The pilot opted to abort the landing and applied full power, however the airplane veered left off the runway centerline. The airplane touched down in a soft field adjacent to the runway substantially damaging the left wing. The pilot reported that there were no mechanical malfunctions or failures with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
