## Analysis

During the takeoff roll the student pilot lost directional control of the airplane which, resulted in a runway excursion and collision with wet terrain. The right wing was substantially damaged. The student pilot reported that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions of the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
