## Summary

This action withdraws a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Dassault Model Falcon 2000 series airplanes. That action would have required performing an inspection to determine the serial number on the identification plate on each of the three hydraulic shut-off valve (HSOV) actuators on the left-hand and right-hand hydraulic reservoirs, and replacing an HSOV actuator with a new HSOV actuator, if necessary. Since the issuance of the NPRM, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has received new data indicating that the identified unsafe condition specified in the NPRM does not exist on the affected airplanes. Accordingly, the proposed rule is withdrawn.
