## Summary

This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Dornier Model 328-100 series airplanes. This proposal would require replacement of the existing main landing gear (MLG) leg assembly with a modified assembly. This action is necessary to prevent fatigue damage of the MLG leg, which could result in collapse of the MLG. This action is intended to address the identified unsafe condition.
