## Summary

This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Jetstream Model ATP airplanes. This proposal would require modification of certain doors. This proposal is prompted by a report that an operator was unable to unlock a Type I passenger door due to migration of a shootbolt bush. The actions specified by the proposed AD are intended to prevent such migration, which could jam the Type I passenger door, and subsequently could delay or impede the evacuation of passengers during an emergency.
