## Summary

This document proposes the supersedure of an existing airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to all Airbus Model A300 series airplanes (excluding Model A300 B4-600 series airplanes), that currently requires certain structural inspections and modifications. This action would require additional structural inspections and modifications that have been identified as necessary to ensure the structural integrity of these airplanes as they approach their economic design goal. The actions specified by the proposed AD are intended to prevent degradation of the structural capability of the affected airplanes.
