## Summary

This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Aerospatiale Model SN 601 (Corvette) series airplanes. This proposal would require repetitive inspections to detect discrepancies of the upper and lower reinforcement panels and panel fasteners of the wing roots; and corrective actions, if necessary. This proposal is prompted by issuance of mandatory continuing airworthiness information by a foreign civil airworthiness authority. The actions specified by the proposed AD are intended to prevent debonding of the upper and lower reinforcement panels of the wing roots, which could result in reduced structural integrity of the wing.
