## Summary

This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Boeing Model 727 series airplanes. This proposal would require modification of the pressure web of the nose landing gear wheel well. This proposal is prompted by reports of fatigue cracks in the pressure web of the nose landing gear wheel well. The actions specified by the proposed AD are intended to prevent cracking of the pressure web of the nose landing gear wheel well, which could result in loss of airplane pressurization.
