## Summary

We propose to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain B/E Aerospace Fischer GmbH Common Seats 170/260 H160. This proposed AD was prompted by the discovery during testing that the energy absorber (EA) may not function as intended during emergency landing. This proposed AD would require removing and replacing the EA assemblies on the affected seats. We are proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
