Background The Italian Airworthiness Authority, Ente Nazionale per l’Aviazione Civile (ENAC-RAI), has issued Airworthiness Directive (AD) number RAI - AD 2000-484 dated October 23, 2000, mandating Piaggio ASB-80-0132 be accomplished before further flight of the effective date of the RAI AD, which is October 31, 2000.

The ASB specifies the incorporation of temporary revision pages in the Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) and the installation of a temporary warning label on the instrument panel glareshield close to the autopilot controller. It also requests that you complete the attached confirmation slip and send it back to Piaggio Product Support Department when ASB-80-0132 is accomplished.
