AT FL 295 WHILE CLIMBING TO FL 390, CREW OBSERVED 2500 FT/MIN CABIN CLIMB.  INITIATED EMERGENCY DESCENT PER AFM.  FINAL MAINTENANCE FINDING, REPLACED DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE CONTROLLER.  FLIGHT TEST OK.
