## Discrepancy

AFTER TAKING OFF FROM HRO TO FLY TO DFW MY SELF FO NOTICED THE PIC SIDE HEADING COORDINATOR WAS SWINGING ERRATICALLY AND THE RED HEADING FLAG WAS DISPLAYED. AFTER TALKING IT OVER WITH HIM WE MADE THE DECISION TO TURN AROUND TO GO BACK TO HRO SINCE WE WASN’T TO FAR FROM THE AIRPORT AND IF ATC WOULD GIVE US VECTORS WE WOULD HAVE TO USE THE BACKUP COMPASS TO FLY THEM. IT WAS VFR AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY BACK AT THE AIRPORT
