MAGNETO FAILED IN-FLIGHT. INSPECTION REVEALED BROKEN CONTACT SPRING.  SPRING BROKE NEAR TRANSITION FROM FLAT SECTION TO RADIUSED EDGE.  SUBMITTER SUSPECTED IMPROPER TEMPER OF SPRING OR OTHER MANUFACTURING DEFECT.  MAG HAS ONLY 8 HOURS SINCE NEW.  (X)
