## Discrepancy

PILOT REPORTED LOSS OF POWER ON TAKEOFF.  MAINTENANCE FOUND PROPELLER GOVERNOR LEAKING OIL AND CONFIRMED POWER LOSS.  CHANGED GOVERNOR AND RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.  TEAR DOWN OF GOVERNOR REVEALED INTERNAL FAILURE CAUSED BY BEARING FAILURE.  (X)
