## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WAS FLYING WHEN A NOISE WAS HEARD.  A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING WAS MADE.  THE PROBLEM WAS A BROKEN GEAR IN THE MAIN TRANSMISSION.  THE BROKEN PART WAS SENT TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR EVALUATION.
