## Discrepancy

DURING DAILY INSPECTION, MECHANIC NOTED FREEWHEELING UNIT STAYED ENGAGED WHEN MOVING MAIN ROTOR FORWARD OR BACKWARD. CONDITION WAS VERIFIED BY PERFORMING AUTO-ROTATION DURING OPS CHECK FLIGHT.  MAIN GEARBOX  TO BE REPLACED IAW MANUFACTURER.
