## Discrepancy

ALTERNATOR CASE CRACKED AT MOUNTING FLANGE ALLOWING ALTERNATOR TO DEPART THE ACCESSORY CASE. THE ALTERNATOR ARMATURE STILL ROTATED FREELY. PROBABLE CAUSE: ENGINE VIBRATION, MFG REPORTED THAT THIS WAS THE 9TH ALTERNATOR TO FAIL THIS WAY.
