SMOKE IN COCKPIT, GEAR NOT FULLY RETRACTED, EXTENDED OK.  FOUND HYDRAULIC POWERPACK MOTOR (ORIGINAL) WORNOUT.  REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH O/H UNIT.  OPS, OK.
