GLAND NUT AND CARRIER CORRODED, REMOVED INNER CYL FOUND.  EXTENSIVE CORROSION ON INNER SURFACE OF OUTER CYL.  REPLACED LT MAIN LANDING GEAR, GEAR SENT TO SHOP FOR OVERHAUL.
