ALTERNATOR FAILED DUE TO 1 CASE BOLT SHEARING AND HEAD WITH SHAFT STILL ATTACHED TO SAFETY WIRE SHORTING OUT THE FIELD POST.  ALTERNATOR WAS IN SERVICE FOR 1 YEAR AND 234 HRS.
