## Discrepancy

PILOT REPORTED A SMOKE ODOR IN THE CABIN DURING APPROACH AND DME INOPERATIVE. REMOVED DME INDICATOR AND COULD DETECT BURNED COMPONENTS. INSTALLED SERVICEABLE DME AND TESTED GOOD. A GENERAL CHECK OF THE SURROUNDING AREA DID NOT REVEAL ANY DAMAGE.
