PASSENGER READING LIGHT CONTROL STARTED SMOKING AFTER IT WAS SELECTED ON, SWITCH PLASTIC CONTINUED TO MELT DURING TAKEOFF ROLL. TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AIRCRAFT POWER REMOVED AND SMOKE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY.
