## Discrepancy

DURING CRUISE FLIGHT OF 150 KIAS, SIC NOTICED WHAT LOOKED LIKE TO BE CRACKS IN SEALANT LOCATED ON THE PIC WINDSCREEN LOCATED AT THE TOP RIGHT CORNER ABOUT A 1/3 OF THE WAY DOWN AS YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE WINDSCREEN FROM THE SIC SEAT, WITH LIGHT VISIBLE THROUGH THE CRACKS. DECISION WAS MADE TO RETURN HELICOPTER TO BASE AND PLACED IN AN AOG STATUS. UPON MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS INSPECTION, THE CRACKING WAS FOUND TO BE GAPS OPENING AND CLOSING IN THE SEALANT BEAD BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD TRANSPARENCY AND THE THE WINDSHIELD FRAME AS THE AIRCRAFT SPEED WOULD INCREASE OR DECREASE. THE TRANSPARENCY WAS ABLE TO MOVE/FLOAT IN THE C-CHANNEL OF THE WINDSHIELD FRAME DUE TO DEBONDING OF THE ADHESIVE BETWEEN THE TWO. THE WINDSHIELD WAS REMOVED WITH NEW INSTALLED ON 6/3/26. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE ON 6/4/26.
