## Discrepancy

DURING TAXI, FAILURE OF  THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR OCCURRED AROUND THE OLEO STRUT PISTON TUBE BOLT HOLE. PIPER AIRCRAFT SERVICE LETTER 1263 RECOMMENDS ROUTINE INSPECTION OF THIS FAILURE POINT EVERY 700 HOURS TIS ON AIRCRAFT WITH OVER 6,500 TOTAL HOURS IN SERVICE.
