## Discrepancy

RECEIVED EMERGENCY EVACUATION SLIDE USED ON 737 ACFT FWD AND AFT DOORS. MAINTENANCE CHECKED THE COMPLIANCE FOR ALL APPLICABLE AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES AND SERVICE BULLETINS. DURING THE INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT COMPONENT AND VERIFICATION OF INCORPORATION OF SB 5A3307-25-451 IT WAS FOUND THAT PADDING ASSY  WAS NOT REPLACED BY PADDING ASSY P/N 3A4047-18. INSTEAD OF REPLACING PADDING ASSEMBLY, UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATION TO THE PADDING ASSEMBLY P/N 3A4047-13 WAS CARRIED OUT DURING THE PREVIOUS WORKSHOP VISIT BY MANUALLY ATTACHING GROMMET FLAP.
