## Discrepancy

WE WERE NOTIFIED THROUGH SAE THAT ONE OF OUR DELIVERED ENGINES ESN 59B359 BELONGING TO AIR INDIA, WHICH IS PART OF THEIR OFFLOAD PROGRAM, HAD ONE FUEL NOZZLE THAT HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE ASSY PROCESS (SHIM NOT INSTALLED) BY THE SUPPLIER OF FUEL NOZZLES. THIS WAS DETECTED BY THE SUPPLIER THROUGH X-RAY EVALUATION. THE SUPPLIER WILL PROVIDE AN EXCHANGE PART DIRECTLY TO AFFECTED CUSTOMERS FOR REPLACEMENT WITHIN 100 CYCLES OR 20 OPS DAYS (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST) AS RECOMMENDED BY CFMI ENGINEERING. SAE IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THIS INCIDENT WITH THE SUPPLIER.
