DURING SCHEDULED A5 CHECK MAINTENANCE LEFT ENGINE INLET FOUND WITH DELAMINATED ACOUSTICAL LINER.   LINER LIFTING AND NOT SMOOTH.  POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR FOD DAMAGE/INGESTION IF CONTINUED IN SERVICE.
