AUXILIARY INVERTER CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED SMOKE IN COCKPIT & CABIN.  FIRST OFFICER ALTIMETER & VSI FAILED.  AUXILIARY INVERTER CB POPPED.  FOUND AUXILIARY INVERTER INOPERATIVE.  R & R AUXILIARY INVERTER IAW MM 24-22-00.  OPERATIONS CHECKED GOOD.
