LEFT ENGINE SURGED ON CLIMB-OUT.  OVERSPEED GOVERNOR FOUND LEAKING AT SPLIT LINE.  REPLACED OVERSPEED GOVERNOR WITH SERVICEABLE UNIT, OPS AND LEAK CHECKED GOOD.  (X)
