AT FL230 WHILE IMC, AUTO PILOT TRIPPED OFF. AILERON WERE JAMMED. PITCH CONTROL NORMAL. MUCH HIGHER CONTROL WHEEL PRESSURE REQUIRED TO ROLL. PARTIAL JAM REMAINED UNTIL ABOUT 2500 FT.
