WHEN POWER LEVERS WERE ADVANCED FOR TAKEOFF, THE NR 2 EPR INDICATION DID NOT INCREASE. THE TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED, AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE EPR INDICATOR AND TRANSMITTER. SYSTEM FUNCTIONALLY TESTED OK. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
