DURING SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE, A .5 INCH CRACK AT 2ND RIB FROM INBOARD END TOP OF FLAP P/N 10116000143, NEAR LEADING EDGE WAS FOUND.  STOP DRILLED CRACKS AND INSTALLED DOUBLER.
