DURING FLIGHT, ENGINE CHIP LIGHT WARNING MADE PRECAUTIONARY LANDING.  MECHANIC INSPECTED ENGINE LUBE SYSTEM, CHIP PLUGS AND WIRING, FOUND NO DEFECTS.  ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
