## Discrepancy

ENGINE FAILED AFTER TAKEOFF.  TEAR DOWN REVEALED SPUR GEAR IN FORWARD GEARBOX HAD FAILED CAUSING SECONDARY DAMAGE TO OTHER GEARS.  GEAR SENT TO ALLIED SIGNAL FOR EVALUATION.
