AIRCRAFT DEICE BOOTS INOP.  FOUND AIR PUMP DRIVE GEAR LOOSE ON CLUTCH SHAFT.  GEAR WAS WORN EXCESSIVELY AND CRACKED.  THIS ITEM DIFFICULT TO INSPECT.  SUBMITTER RECOMMENDS AD REQUIRING PERIODIC INSPECTION.
