UPON STOWING OF STEP ASSY, DETENT BLOCK SUPPORT BROKE.  FOUND EXCESSIVE WEAR ON DETENT BLOCK CATCHES AND BLOCK.  SUBMITTER SUGGESTS MORE FREQUENT LUBE OF CATCHES AND BETTER DEFINITION OF ALLOWABLE WEAR.
