## Discrepancy

VARIABLE RESISTOR CORE BROKE CAUSING AN ARC.  BELIEVE TO HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY VIBRATION DUE TO WEIGHT OF FLOAT HANGING IN ON EMPTY TANK.  RECOMMEND REPLACING SENDING UNIT WITH LATER DESIGN, SENDING UNIT, PN 7740-57.
