## Discrepancy

THE GEARCASE WAS RETURNED FOR 'MAKING METAL'.  THE UNIT WAS DISASSEMBLED.  EXAMINATION OF INTERNAL HARDWARE REVEALED A CRACKED INNER BEARING RACE ON THE PROPELLER SHAFT FORWARD ROLLER BEARING.  REF. CMM 72-11-02.
