ON DESCENT TO MIAMI, RECEIVED FIRE WARNING ON NR 2 ENGINE, REDUCED POWER AND FIRE WARNING CEASED.  LANDED MIAMI WITHOUT INCIDENT.  REPAIRED BROKEN WIRE ON RT FWD DOOR CANNON PLUG.  SYSTEM CHECKED OK, RETURNED ACFT TO SERVICE.
