## Discrepancy

SYR - FL 1052 - AT FL 280 NEAR ABL, CAPTAIN'S WINDSHIELD OUTER PANE SHATTERED.  FLIGHT DIVERTED TO SYR AND LANDED WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD AND THE HEAT CONTROLLER.  REFERENCE USAAF96081.
