LEFT EXHAUST COLLECTOR INSULATION WRAP DETERIORATED ALLOWING EXHAUST TO MELT EXTERNAL SHROUD AND DAMAGE NACELLE SKIN INTO WHEELWELL AND TIRE.  SUBMITTER STATED PROPER INSPECTION OF COLLECTOR WOULD HAVE PREVENTED FAILURE.
