ANC - FLT 105 - RETURNED TO ANC DUE TO FAILURE OF CAPTAIN'S WINDSHIELD OUTER PANEL.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED L1 WINDOW.  REPLACED WINDSHIELD HEAT CONTROLLER AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE.  ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
