## Discrepancy

MCI - FLT 5727 - DURING CLIMB-OUT, THE LEFT ENGINE LOST POWER.  THE CREW SHUT THE ENGINE DOWN AND RETURNED TO FIELD.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED PY-LINE AND RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
