PILOT REPORTED LOSS OF ENGINE POWER ON TAKEOFF AND ELECTED TO LAND ON GOLF COURSE.  DURING INVESTIGATION, ENGINE WAS OPERATED AND ENGINE DRIVEN FUEL PUMP FOUND INOPERATIVE.
