LEFT AILERON BALANCE CABLE FOUND FRAYED AT WS 56.87 ON CABLE SUPPORT BLOCK.  THIS AIRCRAFT WAS ON 100-HOUR INSPECTION AND ONCE CABLE STARTED FRAYING, CONDITION MUST HAVE ACCELERATED, CABLE WAS 50 PERCENT THROUGH.
