## Discrepancy

NR 2 ENGINE BEGAN TO BACKFIRE AND SURGE DURING CRUISE.  ENGINE SHUT DOWN, LANDED SJO WITHOUT INCIDENT.  FOUND ADI REGULATOR HAD RUPTURED DIAPHRAM WHICH MADE ENGINE RUN LEAN.  REPLACED REGULATOR AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.  (M)
